A beautiful Georgian Manor House near Newquay which sleeps 16 people, set in 22 acres of grounds with lake, tennis court and Victorian walled garden producing fruit and vegetables.
An excellent property for large gatherings for a special occasion or quiet retreats with family and friends and plenty to keep everyone entertained. The house is elegant yet comfortable and is beautifully furnished in a relaxed country style.
Three properties are available to book (The Manor House, The Laundry Cottage and The Apple Store), all three can be booked for one big group under Tresillian House, with additional use of the barn. The tennis court and gym are shared on site between guests at all three properties.
Downstairs, the kitchen/breakfast room with stone slate floor has a kitchen table with seating for 10. This traditional kitchen has underfloor heating and all the modern facilities you would expect, including an integrated dish washer, fridge, large island and a dual fuel range cooker. Off the kitchen is a larder with a walk-in fridge, a freezer, and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also an elegantly decorated dining room which seats 20 people. The drawing room is a perfect setting for evening drinks, or afternoon tea with stunning garden and lake views. Enjoy lunch and drinks on the terrace or retire to the library to quietly read a book.
Furniture throughout the house is mostly antique and floors for the most part sanded wood with rugs scattered throughout. The Hall is full height with a fine oak staircase. There are also two downstairs cloak rooms.
Upstairs are six bedrooms including four doubles, one twin and one bunk room which are all ensuite. A further twin and bunk room share the family bathroom. All the bathrooms at Tresillian have great character and stunning views over the gardens and lake. All ensuite bathrooms have both bath and shower facilities and heated towel rails/and or radiators and there are beautiful REN products for you to enjoy during your stay.
A high chair and travel cot are available upon request, and one well behaved dog is welcome during your stay.
