A lovely chalet in a great location. Ski-in and ski-out, but not for complete beginners.
The chalet is very well furnished and equipped, particularly the kitchen.
Communication with the owner was good too, which can be useful.
Well priced, would thoroughly recommend this chalet for a group.
The Sunset Chalet was simply espectacular! Everything was new and placed with incredible care, even the tiniest detail. The rooms were very comfortable, specially the main one, with a state of the art bathroom. I barely have words to appreciate the warm welcome and support from Eliane and Francis, who where there to make our life absolutely comfortable during our stay. And there is no doubt of the reason of the name of the Chalet. You can enjoy an incredible view of the sunset from its wonderful garden!
My family and I had an amazing experience visiting Normandy with the Sunset Chalet as a base.
When we arrived the owners were there. They told us all about the house (about technical matters and where things that were) and they are very friendly. There was cider and cookies as a welcome!
Everything you need or what you think you need 😏 was in and around the house!
Very clean, very nicely decorated and for the parents had their en suite bedroom with their own bathroom.
All the beds were made-up, and there are towels. And you can wash the towels and your own clothes and dry them in the dryer.
So you can go back home with clean clothes, etc.
It's quiet and so very good to relax.
The sea is near the house (we can get there by car in 5 min) with very nice rocks.
It rained quite often so we could only sit outside for 1 day .....it's very nice and has a big garden and a bbq and sun loungers .
Maybe we'll come back another year....
This has been our second time renting this lovely Chalet and we entend to go back again. It is very comfortable very well equiped and ideal for a family. The chalet is located very close to the village so getting around by foot is very easy. Charmey is a beautiful village and offers many activities (out door heated swiming pool, ski resort, hiking....).

Cozy and nice holiday home with all amenities (oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine). Beautiful location at a very short distance from the beach entrance (Plage Sud), which is located on the other side of the road. Also at 8 min walk from the center and supermarket. Landlord is very correct and friendly!
Knusse en fijne vakantiewoning voorzien van alle gemakken (oven, magnetron, vaatwasser, wasmachine). Prachtige locatie op zeer korte afstand van de strandopgang (Plage Sud), deze is gelegen aan de overzijde van de weg. Ook op 8 min wandelen vanaf het centrum en supermarkt. Verhuurder is zeer correct en vriendelijk!

Accommodation occupied during the summer, very clean, very functional, there is everything necessary (and more) to have a pleasant stay. An extremely pleasant outdoor terrace. Located in the heart of the village with shops 2 minutes walk away. Many activities on site and in the surrounding area. Special mention to the owner for her welcome and kindness throughout the stay. We recommend.

Apart from the time which the owners do not control, the rental and its equipment allowed us to have a good time with the family. Lots of walks in the surrounding area, restaurant etc. etc... Hormis le temps que les propriétaires ne maitrisent pas, la location et ses équipements nous ont permis de passer un bon moment en famille. Plein de promenades dans les environs, restaurant etc. etc...

Accommodation ideally located, quiet, well equipped. Just a small flaw with the toilet upstairs which remains poorly adapted and the stairs are not very practical. Very pleasant landlord and person who manages the rental.
Logement idéalement situé, au calme, bien équipé. Juste un petit défaut avec le toilette à l'étage qui reste mal adapté et les escaliers pas très pratiques. Loueur et personne qui gère la location très agréable.

A spacious chalet where everyone can rest peacefully. Sheltered from all noise. The car is parked the entire time thanks to free parking provided by the owner. Everything is done on foot to reach the slopes 5 minutes away, do your shopping or take a walk. Mrs. A. is incredibly kind and always reachable. We have adored.
