A beautifully stylish and spacious 1-bedroom Victorian period apartment, with a shared garden. Superbly positioned in SE15 London, between Peckham, Bermondsey, Camberwell, and Elephant & Castle.
With fantastic transport links to central London from local Elephant & Castle Underground (Zone1/2)(Northern & Bakerloo lines) just a short 10min bus journey along the Old Kent Road (A2) or via local buses to, Covent Garden, London Bridge, Westminister and Waterloo.

The space
This comfortable and beautifully presented1-bedroom, raised ground-floor, apartment is located within a converted Victorian building. The apartment is homely yet with luxurious touches and character, with some original features- high ceilings, a decorative (unused) fireplace, and an original sash window.
On entering the apartment, to the left, the hall area leads to a spacious and stylish open-plan sitting room/dining room area, with wooden flooring, a large comfortable sofa with cushions, a rug, a reading lamp, cushioned coffee table with tray and an overmantle mirror above a decorative (unused) fireplace. There is a Smart TV, for Guest use (personal log-ins required). To the right-hand side of the room is a wooden dining room table with fabric dining room chairs for up to 2 guests to comfortably dine together.
Further along the hallway, down 2 steps, is the well-equipped kitchen area, complete with integrated appliances and tiled flooring. There is a Belfast-style sink with brass taps, oven, AEG electric hob, microwave, kettle, and toaster along with a washing machine and dishwasher for guest convenience. Within the kitchen, there is storage space available for guest use and sleek worksurface spaces for preparing meals. Leading off of the kitchen is a door to a shared communal, outside area, which is down steps to the back of the apartment. There is a table and 2 chairs for guests to enjoy some outdoor time.
Back towards the entrance to the apartment, guests will find the wonderful Master bedroom, with a King-size bed with a cushioned headboard. This luxurious room is located at the front of the property, overlooking the street, there is a large bay window with shutters for privacy. The Master bedroom is calm and relaxing and benefits from soft carpet, a large wardrobe, and a chest of drawers with space for guest belongings. There are bedside tables with touch lamps along with a chair and wicker linen basket for guest use. The window shutters and a quiet ceiling fan can be used to control the bedroom temperature, during warmer months.
The apartment has a relaxing and well-presented, bathroom with black and white checked flooring, ambient light settings, an inviting, free-standing, roll-top bath with wooden bath tray, and a basin area with an over-basin mirrored cabinet for storage. There is also a towel rail, a traditional style WC with a hanging chain, and both a smaller over-bath shower head and a larger rain shower head.
There is a built-in electric toothbrush charger for guest use.
PARKING
There is some limited free on-street parking available between 6 pm-8 am and at weekends on the opposite side of the road from the apartment. During the day, there is a charge to park within the marked parking area-please check parking signs for payment telephone line and instructions (card payment required). Please note that parking spaces are subject to availability.
CLEANING AND LINEN
The apartment is professionally cleaned and sanitized and the linen and towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. Each guest will receive one hand towel and one shower towel for the stay.
GOOD TO KNOW
There will be some complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a convenience store on Old Kent Road, approximately 2 2-minute walk away, exit the apartment building, turn right, and then take a right turn at the top of the road. Alternatively, for larger Supermarket options-Asda is a further 5-minute walk on from the convenience store or at the top of the road, take a left turn and there is a large Tesco 5-minute walk away.
Guest access
Remote self-check-in gives flexibility for arrivals, after 3 pm.
Guests will have access to the entire apartment during their stay, other than some locked cabinets and storage boxes containing the Owner's belongings. There will still be ample storage space for Guests to use during the stay.

Please respect my neighbors by being considerate when using these shared areas and when staying at the flat by keeping noise to a minimum. No amplified sound systems, please.

Dear Guest, I very much hope you enjoy your stay... Please note –
CHECK-IN TIME is after 4 pm
CHECK-OUT TIME is before 11 am.
HOUSE RULES - Please respect my home and my neighbors by keeping the noise down. No loud noise after 9 pm. Strictly no parties! Please be mindful of the flat below when walking around the apartment as noise can travel downstairs. No smoking/vaping is allowed anywhere in the building or on the premises. Please remove your shoes before entering the apartment. Shoes can be left in the basket in the communal hallway, just outside the apartment.
Please use the table mats, coasters, and heatproof mats to protect my wooden furniture and kitchen work surfaces.
HEATING THERMOSTAT- The heating Thermostat is by the TV. Please try and remember to turn it off when leaving the apartment.
BATHROOM SHOWER AND WATER- Please pull the shower screen in towards you when showering otherwise water may flood the bathroom floor. The shower turns on as follows - Pull the white handle up so that it is facing the ceiling. This will turn the water on, you then control the temperature by turning the small silver front tap to the LEFT for HOT water and to the RIGHT for COLD water. There is a silver safety button just behind this silver temperate tap which ensures that water does not get too cold or too hot. To override this safety button please just press the button inwards at the same time as turning the silver temperature tap and this will allow as hot or cold water as desired.
LOUNGE LAMPS- The lounge lamps are controlled by Alexa. Guests can say "Alexa, all lights on" or "Alexa, all lights off" and they will go on and off.
ALEXA- Guests can also use Alexa for music and radio.
COMPUTER MONITOR - Please feel free to use the computer monitor and printer for work purposes. This will be located under the dining table or in the bedroom. Please be gentle with the lounge sash window, it is an original window.
KITCHEN- Please do not use any products on the brass handles. The taps and handles can be cleaned by using some soapy water and a microfibre cloth.
Please do not use any bleach products on the kitchen work surface or on the wooden dining table. Knives forks and utensils are in a 'secret' drawer at the top of the larger drawers to the right-hand side of the fridge.
There may be some alcohol bottles left within the drinks cabinet in the hallway down to the kitchen. Guests can use these, responsibly, but it would be appreciated if any used bottles could be replaced.
BEDROOM- Please be gentle with the bedroom shutters - they are just hand-opened and shut per panel - No force is needed. The bedroom windows do not open, please use the ceiling fan to reduce room temperature if required - The fan remote control is located either on the bedside table or within the bedside table drawer.
The Wi-Fi router is located in the bedroom, Please do not unplug this Wi-Fi router.
Please note that there is a diffuser bottle on top of the chest of drawers in the bedroom this is stuck down so please do not attempt to remove this.
LINEN REPLACEMENT For every stay longer than 14 days there will be linen changes available (on roughly the 14th day, 28th day 42nd day, etc).
SWITCH OFF - Please switch off all lights and electrical equipment when not in use or when leaving the property.
LOCKING UP AND SECURITY- When leaving the property please make sure you close all windows and securely close both the back door, the apartment front door, and the communal entrance door.
Please always make sure the back door is locked when out and that the key is left inside the boiler cupboard on top of the switch, and not left in the back door. To unlock and lock this door please pull the handle up and turn the key. It can be a little stiff, but pull towards you and lift and it should be fine.
Please ensure that you have the flat keys with you at all times when stepping out of the flat as when the door is closed it locks. Please ensure that the shared main front door of the building closes after you enter or exit the building to help keep my neighbors and the building safe and secure. Please note there is a £100 charge for lost keys due to required lock replacement, so please be careful with them.

The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
