On the way there, hike the Chaussée du Roi ("Way of the King") and the Echelle de la Reine ("Ladder of the Queen"): Two staircases set in the rock that will take you to the famous Pont du Diable, the Devil's Bridge. The geological curiosities of Lou Ron Tracha (the holey rock) and Gour Feraou de Conge are a must. The same goes for the Lignon Valley, the ruins of the Château de Montlaur, the Rocher d'Abraham rock and the Peyralade mineral spring. In summer, the ski resort of La Croix-de-Bauzon turns into a paradise for climbing, paragliding, canyoning, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and playing tennis. 26 km away is the historic and fortified town of Aubenas, known for its markets and events in the summer months.
