Description of
Vaulted ceilings at Terrazza Primavera, a typical Apulian house with a terrace overlooking the Pearl of Valle d'Itria, Ostuni.

The high ceilings and the natural light characterise our house, a wide and bright space with balconies and white walls. This three-levels apartment has a living area on the ground floor and the sleeping area on the first one, in addition to the terrace with table and chairs on the top floor, which overlooks the surrounding roofs. The living room with a L-shaped sofa and TV lies between the balcony and the hallway, which then leads to an eat-in kitchen, furnished with a dining table and totally equipped, fitted also with a dishwasher and an oven. These adjoining rooms come with vaulted and arched ceilings. Finally, a toilet completes this level.
Walking upstairs, there is a romantic and elegant bedroom with a queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower, boasting an amazing ceiling coloured in white and with exposed brickwork. Together with the beauty of a typical Apulian dwelling, you will have access to every comfort such as free Wi-Fi, a washing machine, air conditioning for warmer Italian days and heating for the colder season.

Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.

Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (60 minutes) are the closest airports to Ostuni.
