## Space

Ensolarada translates to 'full of the sun', which is exactly what this house is. Thanks to the spacious rooms and large windows on all sides, this house is light and bright and offers you all the comfort you can wish for during your family holiday in the sunny Algarve.

The house has 3 bedrooms, two with (90x200) twin beds that can easily be pushed together and one (1.50x200) double room with an en-suite bathroom. One twin room and a separate bathroom are located on the same floor as the living/dining room and kitchen, while the other 2 bedrooms and bathrooms are located one floor below, with access to a small terrace. The kitchen if fully equipped with modern appliances and gives access to a sunny balcony with outdoor furniture, perfect for those late summer diners. And once the food is cleared away, you can move to the roof terrace to enjoy the last rays of the day on the comfortable lounge set.

Our townhouse is located in the Quinta da Encosta Velha resort area, which in turn is located directly next to the Santo Antonio golf resort. You can view the green of this resort from this house, so it's perfect for golfers too! The shared condominium pool is spacious and located just behind the townhouse. The nearest supermarket (Intermarche) and a handful of restaurants can be found in Budens, which can also easily be reached on foot. From Budens, you can explore the area's many lovely and traditional beach towns, like Salema (just down the road), Sagres, Burgau, Luz and Lagos.

## Neighborhood

Our holiday home in Budens, a small village close to Lagos. It is very popular amongst golf lovers, families, surfers and nature lovers.

A selection of restaurants & bars are there for you to explore both local and international food. We recommend trying fresh fish and seafood dishes! There is a large supermarket just minutes away by car, which can be reached on foot as well. The beach of Salema is a 5 minutes drive. Other beaches like Burgau and Praia da Luz, are just a short drive away. Whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy an amazing hike in nature, Budens is the place to be. And if you do crave the city life at some point, Lagos is only 15 minutes away. Towards the other direction you will find Vila do Bispo and Sagres, which both have lots of bars and restaurants as well as stunning beaches to offer as well.

## Transit

You can reach Budens in just over an hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 4 to 5 hours. The last train stop is in Lagos, from where you have to continue by bus or taxi.

Although public transport is available and safe, if you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier as public transport is limited. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.
