Just 20 metres from the beach, this well-located apartment makes the ideal holiday base for family or friends.

The first-floor apartment can sleep up to 8 people. It is reached via an exterior staircase onto one of 2 covered balconies. The first one is furnished with a dining table and chairs for dinners al fresco or just enjoying the sea view. The other balcony is at the rear of the apartment and includes a shower which is very useful after a day on the sandy beach.

Double glass doors lead inside to the large, open-plan living area, furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV, dining table and chairs. The corner kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. Glass doors open out onto the back balcony.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The airy master bedroom has a double bed, a large wardrobe and French windows which lead out to the balcony.
Bedroom 2: This second room is more suitable for a family. It has a double bed and a bunk bed plus a wardrobe. This bedroom also has doors out onto the balcony
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Bathroom
The spacious bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC

Location
The apartment is a 1-minute walk from Torre Lapillo Beach, which is known for its soft sand and crystal-clear waters. The beach's gentle slope makes it ideal for children and elderly visitors. At 4km long it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. The town behind the beach has everything holidaymakers might need during their stay. There are supermarkets, smaller food shops and a wide range of restaurants and pizzerias all within a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

The neighbouring resort of Porto Cesareo (8 minutes) also has beautiful beaches and lively nightlife. The town's weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses.

Further down the Ionian coast, the historic town of Gallipoli (35 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means "beautiful city" and the town does not disappoint. The town's ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where if you go early you can pick up the freshest catch of the day.

The closest airport is Salento Airport, Brindisi - just under an hour away by car.
