The Château de Versailles is 10 minutes from the house. Thanks to the many public transport services nearby, it's quick and easy to get to Paris. Eurodisney and Parc Astérix are also within easy reach by public transport.
The Yvelines department (78) is a beautiful region to visit, with many green spaces.
Transportation :
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house's private parking lot.
For other modes of transport, here's some information you may find useful:
- The Chaville Rive Droite station (L or U train) is a 12-minute walk from the house. This train departs from Gare Paris Saint-Lazare and passes through La Défense, with a 30-minute journey between Gare Saint-Lazare and the house.
- The Chaville Rive Gauche station (N train) is a 7-minute walk away. This train departs from Gare Montparnasse and takes less than 15 minutes to reach Chaville Rive Gauche.
- Chaville/Vélizy station (RER C) is an 8-minute walk away. This train passes through Notre-Dame and Les Invalides, and it takes around 20 minutes to get to the center of Paris from the house.
- The 171 bus is a 2-minute walk from the house, taking 10 minutes to Versailles or 20 minutes to Boulogne-Billancourt.
- From the airport, transportation can be a bit tedious. I recommend taking a cab. The nearest airport is Orly, 20 km away.
