The MAISON BRAVÈ apartment is located in "SANTA MARIA DEL FOCALLO", along the seafront of Ispica, 110 km away from Catania airport. This is a plot that combines the style of a typical Sicilian house and the story of an aristocratic artist of the Belgian upper class, Marie Bravè.
Maison Bravè is composed of 1 double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, a bathroom with shower and a well-furnished outdoor garden, which refers to the uncontaminated nature, scents and colors of the area, also found in the Caltagirone ceramics which we find in the flooring of the internal environments of the property.
The structure is located 50 meters walk from the sandy beach of Santa Maria del Focallo and 4 km from the rocky beach "PUNTA CIRICA", also a suggestive place.
The accommodation is equipped with a barbecue, iron, internet access (wifi), hairdryer, air conditioning, 2 electric anti-mosquito devices and 1 television.
The American gas kitchen is equipped with fridge, oven, freezer, washing machine, crockery/cutlery, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. The house also has parking inside with capacity for up to 2 cars.
Furthermore, the strong point of the house is its proximity to the sea; ideal place for families, also for the various restaurants nearby, such as the IL BRACIERE restaurant, the SODA THANKS BEACH CLUB, the VERDE BASILICO restaurant, the LA LAMPARA restaurant, the IL VELIERO restaurant, the IL CIANCIUOLO restaurant, and also the BLUE SUPERMARKET.
Maison Brave therefore represents a "status" of artistic nobility concentrated in a small Sicilian fisherman's house. Small parts of His Works can be appreciated and admired in this place. By purchasing this small fishermen's property, Marie Bravè, a noble woman from whom the house draws inspiration, soon wanted to give her artistic imprint, with ceramic and terracotta bricks, which she painted herself, immortalizing the memories of her experience, which have never been abandoned, and transferring them to the same bricks, also getting help from the former custodian, his life partner, to make them real masonry works.
