Recommended excursion destinations are the town of Fécamp surrounded by high chalk cliffs with its three different ports, the seaside resort of Etretat, made famous by the Impressionist painters, or the picturesque port and art city of Honfleur, beyond the large bridge over the Seine. Hikers can use the well signposted long-distance hiking trail GR 21, which stretches over 100 km along the white alabaster coast.
