The medieval building was once the residence of the famous Ghizzoni family, renowned goldsmiths in the 18th century. Architect Balzarotti redesigned the interiors with contemporary flair, furnishing the apartment with custom-made furniture crafted by Cantù artisans. To enhance the refined ambiance, iconic design pieces such as Alvar Aalto's birch chairs and stools, Fornasetti textiles, and the famous "Eclisse" lamps by Achille Castiglioni were added. The walls are adorned with works by contemporary Italian artists like Vanni Cuoghi, Edo Janich, and Marina Giannobi.
