In the charming quiet hamlet of Babio in the town of La Caunette, this cottage is a pleasant holiday home for 5 people in the traditional style, since it dates from the 14th century, where you can stay in an ideal setting to relax or to discover the wonders of the Minervois.
The cottage consists of a beautifully decorated living room with a sofa and two modern armchairs, a cabinet with TV, two coffee tables. Continuing, you will find a kitchen of character with induction, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment and dishwasher, in a room also containing a central furniture to chat with friends or family while cooking. This kitchen is followed by a dining room with a large table to peacefully taste the finest dishes and the best wines of the region.
Once up the stone stairs, a small relaxation area with two armchairs is offered, before arriving on a corridor leading to the three bedrooms and the bathroom of the cottage. The first bedroom, pleasantly decorated in wood style, is a room for two people with two single beds and two bedside tables. The second bedroom for two people consists of a double bed, a wooden wardrobe and a full-length mirror, with stunning views of the green nature of the Minervois. The third bedroom, concomitant with the second bedroom, is a room with a single bed, ideal for example for a child.
The bathroom has a shower, a cabinet with sink and mirror and a washing machine. An independent toilet is also present in the cottage. The cottage also has a nice exterior in front (small street not passing through to get to the garden) with a private semi-buried wooden pool open from May to September and sunbathing to relax under the heat of the sun of Minervois, and a plancha area.

In the heart of a Mediterranean landscape punctuated by capitelles and stone walls, make a detour through the medieval village of Minerve, located between deep ravines, where you will be amazed by the cobbled streets and Cathar remains, while having a view of the breathtaking panoramas of the Minervois vineyards. Let yourself be tempted by tastings of Minervois wines in the surrounding cellars, renowned for their quality.
La Caunette is also not far from the Canal du Midi, where you can enjoy a peaceful bike ride or on the water. You can also visit about fifty kilometers the very famous and beautiful City of Carcassonne, and, closer, the beautiful Olonzac (15 kilometers) and Narbonne, steeped in history with its historic center (30 km).
