At a distance of about 25 km is the North Sea coast. Some cozy seaside resorts on the North Sea coast with beautiful, wide sandy beaches are Julianadorp and Callantsoog. The town of Schagen is about 23 km away. Here you will find many stores and restaurants. Amsterdam is about 70 km away. The IJsselmeer, the Afsluitdijk and the Amstelmeer are about 6 km away. In spring the bulb fields around Wieringen are in bloom. In Hippolytushoef there are several restaurants and supermarkets.
