In the heart of the sumptuous Grand Site of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and the Gorges de l'Hérault, and less than 40 kilometers from Montpellier, nestled in the heart of the historic potters village of Saint-LaurentJean de Fos, the cottage of Villa Blanche will offer you a moment of relaxation and disconnection in a natural and refreshing cultural setting.
Located on the ground floor of the owner's house, the cottage opens onto a 26m² air-conditioned living room in traditional style consisting of a pleasant living area with two sofas, a coffee table and TV, as well as a kitchen with an oven with gas stove, a fridge with freezer compartment and a wooden sideboard. At the bend of a corridor, you will then discover the elegant bathroom with a bathtub, a shower, a large sink and mirror and a washing machine. The toilet area is independent.
Then, a first bedroom of 11.5m² with a bed for two people in 140x190 cm and its wooden wardrobe. A little reading is available on the shelves of the room.
Note that the interior of the cottage is composed of a few steps for access to several rooms.
Outside the cottage, you will enjoy a common garden with garden furniture but especially a swimming pool (shared with the owner) allowing you to cool off under the sun of the Hérault.
Everything is included except the cleaning which is optional.
Tourist attractions: Saint-Jean de Fos, a true village of potters and craftsmen with many and varied arts that includes a charming historic center with its medieval streets, without forgetting that viticulture and olive growing are two other historical activities of the village, as evidenced by the thousand-year-old olive tree of the town! Do not hesitate to visit the Argileum, authentic workshop of the nineteenth century in the heart of the village today transformed into a museum to discover the process of making pottery and the traditional practices of the potters of Saint-Jean de Fos.
Saint-Jean de Fos is also in the heart of the Grand Site de France Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert - Gorges de l'Hérault with its magnificent landscapes, between the mountains, the historical heritage of Saint-Jean-de-FosGuilhem-le-Désert and its famous hikes such as that of the Cirque de l'Infernet, the natural setting of the Gorges de l'Hérault, ideal for swimming, fishing or kayaking, or the Pont du Diable, a bridge of Romanesque architecture spanning the Hérault to reach Saint-Guilhem. Also nearby are Lake Salagou and the natural site of Cirque de Mourèze, must-see sites in the region. Finally, just 5 minutes from the village, discover the cave of Clamouse, an underground cave unique in Europe.
