The exterior area is amazing. The peaceful environment surrounds the great salt water pool that sizes 10 x 4 metres and has a depth that goes from 1.4 to 1.9 metres. It is ideal to cool down when it is hot outside in the summer, as well as the exterior shower. Then, you can relax while basking in the sun on the sun loungers, admiring the lovely Mallorcan fields and the mountains far away. The great table with benches, resembling a typical mountain picnic area, invites to enjoy a delicious barbecue alfresco or some pizzas or a good bread cooked in the wood oven at the porch. There also is a ceramic top in case you prefer to cook outdoors. The property is fenced and privacy is total.
The stone house was built in the Templar age and has become a magical and special place throughout generations. The style inside is rustic and typically Mallorcan, with its ancient stone walls, and the house comprises two floors. On the main floor, there is a spacious living-dining room with a comfortable sofa and two armchairs where you can spend nice moments watching the TV sat. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and all you need to cook comfortably, and it is characterised by the great fireplace that was used to cook in the past. There also is a shower bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a closet and the other with twin beds and exit to the exterior area. You will find another living area upstairs, with a great sofa, and a room to work or read if you need it. The floor is completed with a bathroom with a jetted tub and two more bedrooms, both with AC and a closet. One has a double bed and the other twin beds. There are up to 2 baby cots and high chairs, as well as 4 electric radiators and 3 fans to complete the equipment. The laundry area is at the porch and it offers a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board.
Located between the mountains and the fields, this magnificent villa is the place for those in search of rest and nature. Algaida is a quite traditional place where you will be able to know the authentic Mallorcan habits and people. You can go to the street market in the square on Friday morning and buy the local and artisan products. The town is near the centre of the island and you can easily reach interesting places like Randa and the Sanctuary of Cura, with amazing views. The nearest beach is about 20 km away but you will find many to visit like the dream-like beach of es Trenc or the little coves skirting the coast in the area of the Tramuntana mountain range.
