We are skiing in France for the last 10 years or so, and have been renting similar studios. The convenience of the ski-in / ski-out that Aurore’s studio offers is hard to beat. You will be hard pressed to find a better set-up. The communication always prompt, and Aurore is always happy to advice on things whenever needed.

Very good Chalet, we rented the house during the winter and due to the recent snowfall we were able to ski from the house to the ski lift (and even from the piste to the house, though this requires a fairly substantial descend off-piste). The owners were responsive in their communication and were able to offer us a discount on our skipasses. Overall we had a very nice stay!

Every now and then you get lucky and find an amazing home-from-home rental accommodation. Trust me, this is one of those 5* gems! Where do I start? Clearly Marc & Patricia have put an enormous amount of thought and effort into making this chalet a home with everything you could possibly want. I believe this chalet was recently renovated during 2021 and so everything feels new. The kitchen is truly well equipped…plenty of large and small plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses (both wine glasses and flutes, tumblers and pint glasses), mugs, cups, cooking utensils, pots and pans, to cater for ‘WELL OVER’ 12 people (we were 8, so plenty to spare). There is a dishwasher and also both a Fondue and Raclette set for those adventurous cooks, oh….and a sandwich toaster. Also provided is a Nespresso machine…we took our coffee pods but I believe you can buy pods in Tignes Le Lac if you forget to take your own. Our favourite kitchen device however was the table top ice maker…. perfect for that G&T after a hard day on the slopes! The chalet has 4 large bedrooms all with en-suite with plenty of storage space. The beds were very comfortable. Three of the bedrooms have additional beds - two of those bedrooms having slightly smaller mattresses large enough for say a 13/14 year old depending on their height. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating and a huge dining table overlooking the enormous outside terrace and the beautiful views across the lake to Val Claret and the mountain beyond. The lounge has an open fire and plenty of wood to burn is supplied. The lounge also has a Bluetooth speaker to connect your own devices to (we hard wired our mobile phones as we couldn’t figure out the Bluetooth connection after a few glasses of wine!! Likely it was the wine which affected our senses than the speaker itself, so I’m sure anyone that’s tech savvy would be able to figure it out and if not, Marc is always available to help!). The lounge is also equipped with a smart TV and DVD and also has the ability to connect up a laptop. The outside terrace is huge and we were lucky enough to bask in glorious sunshine for 4 days out of the 6 when we returned from the slopes. There is an outside BBQ (gas I think) and Wood Burner that unfortunately we didn’t get to try, but great as an option should you wish to use them. There is plenty of WIFI throughout the chalet and not once did anyone moan about poor connectivity….not even when all 8 of us were on our devices!! The chalet has it’s own private cinema room and sauna (for use solely by the occupants of this chalet…i.e. not shared with anyone) – additional towels are provided for the sauna. The cinema room has great surround-sound and you can connect to pretty much anything…Apple TV, Netflix, Prime, Disney, your own laptop and there are plenty of DVDs to choose from in the chalet should you not want to bring your own. The chalet has its own private (not shared) boot warmer and ski rack, enough for at least 12 sets, conveniently positioned inside the chalet by the front door. The owners Marc and Patricia are extremely welcoming and friendly. They are very close by should you need anything. Should you arrive in Tignes early before check-in or leave Tignes later after check-out, they will try and be as flexible as possible but if it’s not possible you can safely store your luggage in Marc and Patricia’s locked garage and head into town. The walk into town where the ski schools meet takes no more than 5 minutes. Here you’ll also find a great supermarket with plenty of choice as well as plenty of restaurants nearby (I suggest you book 3-4 days in advance in peak season). Thank you again Marc and Patricia!!!! Not five star comfort but this is a good value, good house. 11 of us spent a very happy week there. The beds were comfortable and the house was warm and cosy. Everything worked. TA bonus was the free supply of firewood for the excellent wood burning fire in the living room. The owner is not always the quickest at replying to e-mail and we used English/French Google Translate as an aid to communication but overall Olivier is OK to deal with. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Excellent situated I the very center of Val d'Isere close to every thing. Beautiful totaly renovated. Only wish to have is wifi. Do not hesitate to rent this apartment.

This apartment was very spacious considering it was a studio. It has a wonderful balcony overlooking the piste. There were added bonuses of a dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer if needed. It also had a homely feel about it and I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location in Vallandry - just across the path from the ski lift and ski school area. The apartment itself was clean, warm and well laid out - plenty of room for 5 adults. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Very nice, modern and perfectly well equipped apartment, it was even better than expected! Nice large couch. We used the low terrace chairs inside so that we had a comfortable reading chair for everyone. Perfect location, ski out/ski in. Enough space for 6 adults (the cabin was of course a little small for 2 almost 2m tall guys... but they knew on forehand and slept well). We loved our stay here. Communication with owner was good.

The apartment is not very big, so it just fitted with 4 persons. But has all the necessary spaces to put your stuff. We had a lot of snow, so we were very happy that a space in the parking lot was part of the rent! The contact with dhr. Alain worked out great. The apartment is close to the slopes and the ski-rent. So a good location!

We were 5 youngsters and 2 adults that had a wonderfull sommer vacation in Tignes. The apartment is very nice with lots of space where everything just works - also wifi. It has a excellent location towards all the sommer activities and we can highly recommend this apartment.

This is an very good apartment to stay. It's location is great, and the view on the mountains is perfect. It is well equipped and has ample parking place. There is no wlan, and the tv is small, but there is free wifi in the town centre between 9am and 8pm.

Comfortable, spacious and clean apartment in an ideal situation for the ski slopes, shops and bars. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to use this apartment again if we return to Arc 2000.

The studio apartment is as described and is well represented by the photographs. We were a party of two staying in mid-February. The balcony was sunny with good views. The parking available through the owner was good value - and the car was only 100m from the studio - all accessible through a covered passage. To get to the snow required a walk of 3-5 minutes from the studio door. It was possible to ski to this point each evening and from this point you can ski 150m to the Vagère or Chantel lifts along a slight decline. The boulangerie, supermarket, ski-hire shops are all adjacent to the apartment block on the 11th floor (the studio, accessible by lift, is below on the 8th floor and is not disturbed by the noise of this village.) The owners were efficient and straightforward to deal with at all stages. We had a very pleasant stay.

This was a lovely apartment in a fabulous situation. New Year's eve fireworks from our balcony were great. Very comfortable and well equipped. Very high standard of cleanliness with lots of cleaning products, etc. to use. Highly recommend to others.

This apartment is in a great location right opposite the sherpa supermarche Val claret. It is a very modern good size fridge and other new appliances plenty of storage one of the best small apartments I have stayed in. Our stay was made easy and the caretakers were very helpful although they did not speak much english but with our broken french we managed to get by. I would also like to compliment the owner as to the recent modernization this has been done to a good standard. All in all a very pleasant stay and I will book again

This property is perfect for 2 families who know each other very well. We went with my sister and her family. The 5 teenagers 13-18yrs were happy sharing the mezzanine room (double, bunk and sofa-bed) though it was rather cramped, and messy as there was extremely limited storage for clothes etc!This room is up steep narrow stairs and is above, and open to, the living room. Off this upstairs room are one double bedroom with low ceiling, and one bathroom with bath and loo. The downstairs loo is separate from the bathroom. There is also a reasonable double bedroom downstairs. The kitchen area is tiny but well equipped and we had no difficulty catering for 9. It is simply but comfortably furnished and there are games and TV/DVD player. The apartment is ideally located on the slope. The balcony overlooks the ski-school meeting area and the first lift is literally a stones throw away. The well stocked local shop and bars etc are also very close but there was never a problem with noise. Only minor drawbacks were parking which is in the public open car park (free) and seems rather oversubscribed! Once you have found a space, keep it!! Ski storage, in the ground floor ski room locker, is totally inadequate - room for about 3 sets of skis only, but there was no problem in taking skis up to the apartment and keeping them on the balcony. Also some minor problems with the curtains but I hope these have now been fixed.
