We are skiing in France for the last 10 years or so, and have been renting similar studios. The convenience of the ski-in / ski-out that Aurore’s studio offers is hard to beat. You will be hard pressed to find a better set-up. The communication always prompt, and Aurore is always happy to advice on things whenever needed.

Very good Chalet, we rented the house during the winter and due to the recent snowfall we were able to ski from the house to the ski lift (and even from the piste to the house, though this requires a fairly substantial descend off-piste). The owners were responsive in their communication and were able to offer us a discount on our skipasses. Overall we had a very nice stay!

Every now and then you get lucky and find an amazing home-from-home rental accommodation. Trust me, this is one of those 5* gems! Where do I start? Clearly Marc & Patricia have put an enormous amount of thought and effort into making this chalet a home with everything you could possibly want. I believe this chalet was recently renovated during 2021 and so everything feels new. The kitchen is truly well equipped…plenty of large and small plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses (both wine glasses and flutes, tumblers and pint glasses), mugs, cups, cooking utensils, pots and pans, to cater for ‘WELL OVER’ 12 people (we were 8, so plenty to spare). There is a dishwasher and also both a Fondue and Raclette set for those adventurous cooks, oh….and a sandwich toaster. Also provided is a Nespresso machine…we took our coffee pods but I believe you can buy pods in Tignes Le Lac if you forget to take your own. Our favourite kitchen device however was the table top ice maker…. perfect for that G&T after a hard day on the slopes! The chalet has 4 large bedrooms all with en-suite with plenty of storage space. The beds were very comfortable. Three of the bedrooms have additional beds - two of those bedrooms having slightly smaller mattresses large enough for say a 13/14 year old depending on their height. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating and a huge dining table overlooking the enormous outside terrace and the beautiful views across the lake to Val Claret and the mountain beyond. The lounge has an open fire and plenty of wood to burn is supplied. The lounge also has a Bluetooth speaker to connect your own devices to (we hard wired our mobile phones as we couldn’t figure out the Bluetooth connection after a few glasses of wine!! Likely it was the wine which affected our senses than the speaker itself, so I’m sure anyone that’s tech savvy would be able to figure it out and if not, Marc is always available to help!). The lounge is also equipped with a smart TV and DVD and also has the ability to connect up a laptop. The outside terrace is huge and we were lucky enough to bask in glorious sunshine for 4 days out of the 6 when we returned from the slopes. There is an outside BBQ (gas I think) and Wood Burner that unfortunately we didn’t get to try, but great as an option should you wish to use them. There is plenty of WIFI throughout the chalet and not once did anyone moan about poor connectivity….not even when all 8 of us were on our devices!! The chalet has it’s own private cinema room and sauna (for use solely by the occupants of this chalet…i.e. not shared with anyone) – additional towels are provided for the sauna. The cinema room has great surround-sound and you can connect to pretty much anything…Apple TV, Netflix, Prime, Disney, your own laptop and there are plenty of DVDs to choose from in the chalet should you not want to bring your own. The chalet has its own private (not shared) boot warmer and ski rack, enough for at least 12 sets, conveniently positioned inside the chalet by the front door. The owners Marc and Patricia are extremely welcoming and friendly. They are very close by should you need anything. Should you arrive in Tignes early before check-in or leave Tignes later after check-out, they will try and be as flexible as possible but if it’s not possible you can safely store your luggage in Marc and Patricia’s locked garage and head into town. The walk into town where the ski schools meet takes no more than 5 minutes. Here you’ll also find a great supermarket with plenty of choice as well as plenty of restaurants nearby (I suggest you book 3-4 days in advance in peak season). Thank you again Marc and Patricia!!!! We were a group of 3 staying at this accommodation. It was very homely, warm and welcoming. The main bed is king size and so comfortable. The facilities were as described. The kitchen was exceptional for making proper meals with plenty of pots pans and crockery. It was always warm with plenty of hot water. There was always somewhere to park. We drove down to the ski gondola each day but parking at the gondola is limited. However there is a free bus to take you. There is a spar in Bride but we took a 10 min drive to Moutier for a larger and cheaper supermarket. I would definitely recommend this accommodation as it was great value and very comfortable, peaceful and quiet. Julia communicated very quickly and efficiently. Thank you

Not five star comfort but this is a good value, good house. 11 of us spent a very happy week there. The beds were comfortable and the house was warm and cosy. Everything worked. TA bonus was the free supply of firewood for the excellent wood burning fire in the living room. The owner is not always the quickest at replying to e-mail and we used English/French Google Translate as an aid to communication but overall Olivier is OK to deal with. We would be very happy to stay there again.

This apartment was very spacious considering it was a studio. It has a wonderful balcony overlooking the piste. There were added bonuses of a dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer if needed. It also had a homely feel about it and I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location in Vallandry - just across the path from the ski lift and ski school area. The apartment itself was clean, warm and well laid out - plenty of room for 5 adults. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Had a great week in La Plagne, skiing over New Year. The whole experience was great, the website was easy to use, the owner was very quick to respond and very helpful. The apartment was exactly as the photos and description online and the location was first class. We couldn't have picked better for our needs. We would certainly recommend this to a family of three.

Very nice, modern and perfectly well equipped apartment, it was even better than expected! Nice large couch. We used the low terrace chairs inside so that we had a comfortable reading chair for everyone. Perfect location, ski out/ski in. Enough space for 6 adults (the cabin was of course a little small for 2 almost 2m tall guys... but they knew on forehand and slept well). We loved our stay here. Communication with owner was good.

The apartment is not very big, so it just fitted with 4 persons. But has all the necessary spaces to put your stuff. We had a lot of snow, so we were very happy that a space in the parking lot was part of the rent! The contact with dhr. Alain worked out great. The apartment is close to the slopes and the ski-rent. So a good location!

This is an very good apartment to stay. It's location is great, and the view on the mountains is perfect. It is well equipped and has ample parking place. There is no wlan, and the tv is small, but there is free wifi in the town centre between 9am and 8pm.

Very cosy and warm. We had a lovely stay. There is no wifi in the apartment but I had good access to roaming data. Parking is not included in the price but is available nearby for around €90 a week. The gondolas are really close by and you can ski right back to the balcony. I would definitely come back again.

We were very pleased with our vacation and Nicole´s appartment. There was plenty of room for our family of 3. It was very clean, cozy and beautiful, everything we needed was there. We also liked the privacy of this apartment and the view from the windows was magnificent. The apartment's location was very convenient. It was less than 100 metres to the funicolor for Les Arcs 1600.
