Location
The apartment is in the hamlet of Poggio Radioso which is the starting point for several panoramic hiking trails. The village has a bar but for other amenities, guests will find everything they need in Lesa (12 minutes). This picturesque town is well-served with supermarkets, restaurants and cafés. Its weekly market (Thursday mornings) is an excellent source of the finest and freshest local produce for guests to cook at home.
The lakeside promenade, the Lungolago Lesa makes a wonderful walk at any time of day. For trips out on the lake visitors can hire e-boats or more traditional boats in the town. Back on land, there are beaches on the lake where you can sunbathe and swim in the clear waters. Spiaggia dell'Erno (15 minutes) is particularly popular.
Away from the lake, visitors can enjoy hiking and mountain biking as well as horse-riding at Le Fontanelle Ranch (3 minutes walk).
Milan's international Malpensa airport is a 40-minute drive.
