The apartment is in the centre of the town but on a quiet street. The spacious living/dining room is furnished with a sofa, dining table and chairs. A glass door leads out to the shaded veranda. The separate kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a coffee machine.
There are two gardens, one at the front and one at the back of the property. So guests can relax on sun loungers, under a large parasol; enjoy meals al fresco or just sit with a book.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe, plus a glass door leading out onto the garden.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe. There is also a door leading out onto the terrace in the garden.

Location
Not only is Torre dell'Orso blessed with fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear sea, it is also ideally located for visitors to explore the rest of the Salento peninsula. There are several beach clubs, which suit different ages and interests, and many different water sports available on the beaches including windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding. The town is a laid-back resort with a few clubs and many excellent restaurants catering to all budgets and tastes. There are shops and supermarkets within walking distance from the villa, and the town centre is also accessible on foot.
For nature lovers, the area's nature reserves offer a haven for hiking and bird-watching. Visit the Le Cesine Nature Reserve (10 minutes), an oasis of biodiversity with lagoons, sand-dunes and a rich variety of migratory birds. Bicycles are available for rental for those wishing to explore the Salento countryside in more detail.
The city of Lecce (30 minutes) is famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture as well as its Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit, not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping. For a wide range of local produce, the twice-weekly market in Lecce is a treasure trove of the finest regional produce from fish, vegetables and fruit to olive oil and cheese.
The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over an hour away by car.
