?? The Capo Testa peninsula, known for its incredibleviews of Corsica, for the rock formations with the most curious shapes, for the variety of beaches, it is also home to sites of historical interest. ???
?A stop at the Roman quarries, used for the extraction of granite, the main economic resource of the time, is highly recommended.
On the site it is possible to admire gigantic monoliths detached from the mother rock, semi-finished columns, capitals and various architectural elements. There are also numerous shafts of semi-finished columns (as on the Levante beach).?
The proximity of the sea facilitated the transport of the columns to the port of Ostia. The granite from Alta Gallura appears to have been used for the construction of public buildings and patrician villas in Rome.?

Dear owners.
New and clean apartment.
We suggest changing a couple of breakfast cups that have broken handles and providing the flat with a juicer to dry the salad.
