Granite rocks and sandy shores alternate from one end to the other throughout the coastal area of Palau, such as the beach of Sciumara and the suggestive coast of Porto Faro.
Proceeding westwards, the prestigious Porto Rafael offers an outstanding and chic atmosphere, with its luxurious villas and colourful marina framed by olive groves, myrtle and lavender. The timeless beauty of Punta Sardegna and the exotic features of Cala Trana are surely worth a visit.
Towards Santa Teresa Gallura, the natural paradise of Isuledda or Isola dei Gabbiani can be found. From L'isuledda the panorama of the islets of Cavalli, Spargi and Budelli is simply astonishing. Other famous beaches are: Arenaria, Porto Pollo and Barrabisa.
